Today Amber, Dana and I woke up early to go on an adventure. 6:23 to be exact. How I know that is because Ty had to call me to wake Dana and I up from our very deep slumber. I sprung awake and got ready in record time to try to help Ty jump his car. Only it didn't work so we had to wake up my roommate to drive us all.
The three ladies convened at the dock where our boat trip would leave. We were all a little tired but mostly excited for our long overdue adventure and being tourists for the day.
We started our tip with about an hour long boat ride to Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands (BVI), the three of us talking about anything and everything that came to mind. Once we got to Virgin Gorda, everyone on the trip took a taxi over to the baths. The baths (BVI) are a geologic structure in which volcanic rock is pushed up near the water to create tunnels, pools, arches and grottoes. There are only two baths in the world, one being in the BVI, so it was super cool that we got to go. We were geeking out sooooo hard. "What minerals are in this granite?" "What geologic event caused these huge boulders?" We just wanted to explore and get lost in those rocks. It was SO hard for me to stay with the group. One half of me knew what it was like to herd tourists (like cats...) but the other half of me just wanted to run away giggling like a mad woman full of glee. I couldn't stop loving the place and it was so hard to leave. The minerals reminded me of California with the tourmaline, quarts and feldspar while the water kept me in the Caribbean and the grottoes made feel like i was on the moon. It was mind blowing.

I didn't think anything could trump going to the baths, but the rest of the day was pretty bomb as well.
And because we had such a good time, Im exhausted and can't stay up a minute longer. Will update another time!!
